Changing textures and colors of objects

Textures and colors can be easily changed for many objects in DrawHome like Walls, Roofs, Doors, Windows, etc.

There are two primary ways to change the texture or color of an object

  1. Quick textures bar
Many objects like roofs and walls have a quick textures bar that show the most commonly used textures for that object. Before drawing an object, quick textures bar can be used to select the default texture for the object or component that is about to be drawn. After an object is created, to change the appearance of the object, quick textures can be activated by using the paintbrush icon. In some devices, the quick textures bar will appear automatically when an object is selected.

  2. Appearance options
A more advanced way of changing appearance of an object is by opening the appearance menu. This can be done by clicking on the ">" icon on the quick texture bar, or by clicking Settings on the popup menu.
Some objects may have multiple components (Eg: Street facing and room facing sides of the wall) that can be accessed using the settings. Textures/Colors of each of these components can be changed using the appearance panel of each component.
